The extracut-brush®

The extracut-brush®  is an attachment designed to fit onto the front of most golf and sports club mowers. The brush allows you to cut and brush in one motion, producing more clippings than a straight cut as lateral lying grass is stood up immediately prior to cutting.

Our brush has been proven to deliver immediate results not only for golf clubs and is widely used across football, rugby and other training pitches and stadiums across the country.

Assembly and Fitting

The extracut-brush®  has been manufactured from steel and built using a minimal number of parts, keeping the brush as light as possible and incredibly easy to assemble and fit.

The initial assembly of the brush will take around 8 – 10 minutes and then just a matter of mintues to remove or add to the front of your mower, allowing you to decide quickly whether brushing is needed each day.

Bristle thickness options

The brush is available in two options of bristle cassette, 0.9 bristle thickness (which is recommended for everyday brushing of golf greens) and 1.1 (better suited for teas, collars, fairways and practice grounds. If you’re using the brush on a regular basis then the brush bristles can be easily changed and wheel height can be easily adjusted.

Dew removal

Allows you to cut and brush in one motion, without the need to swish a morning dew off first. With 18 greens this can save your greenkeeper as much as an hour a day (more than 15 days across a year!).

Demonstrations

At many of our customer demonstrations the greens have often already been cut. Our brush cut still gains more clippings as it stands up lateral lying grasses immediately prior to cutting, allowing for instant results to be seen. To book your demonstration or discuss your needs please give us a call on +44 (0)7828 145 598 or complete our form below and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you have.
